Ok.....this new blogging format stuff.....sure is weird .....for computer challenged people, like myself! I just got back from a 2 day trip to San Diego. I visited a girlfriend who is going through reconstructive surgery from breast cancer. OMG!.. Is she a positive person....these kind of life changing trials, are NOT for sissies! She is staying in one of the most beautiful apartments, at the entrance to Mission Bay....water and beach forever views.....NICE!! Inspiring!! Enjoy your HUMP DAY!

Keepin' Busy

We've had a house full of family and friends over the past week or two. Lot's of food, drinking and FUN! DH and I took Gunnar ....and his Mom and Dad ;-) out for his first boating trip.....he got to steer the boat...............SOOOOOOO FUN!

Lovin' my thinner life....it was like carrying around 4 Gunnar's before.....impossible!

I never named you, maybe because, I feel you are a part of me. I feel so blessed to have found you! You have helped me "fight the fight" I've struggled with for over 50 years, Thank you! . Because of our hard work, I feel better, look better and have a rejuvenated love for my life.

LB Question

Can you please remind me why we are NOT to use NSAID'S with the LB? I have this bum arm that only seems to respond to Advil. I am going to a orthopedic surgeon tomorrow morning and I know he will give me something like that.

Alright...already

I have NO excuse for not blogging. I follow each and every one of you everyday and love and appreciate you all.

The holidays were different because the kids didn't come home for the first time ever. DS2 had to work at the toy store and DS1 has his own family now and had to work also. DH and I had and went to many parties and basically had a wonderful low stress holiday! I baked and cooked a lot and ended up with O weight gain....I love the band!!!

I still want to lose 25 lbs but really haven't lost any weight for 4-6 months. Like I keep reading from a lot of you ...it's not the band...it's up to me to get serious if I'm going to lose more....and it just isn't in my mind set ..RIGHT NOW!!

I've been swimming 3-4 times a week even though I have a bum arm I'm dealing with.

Life is good right now...even though my husbands job is winding down . We will deal with that when it happens!

MIA

This has been the most amazing two weeks of my life to say the least. Nov 14 my husband turned 60 and we had a sit down dinner for 18 with great wine and amazing food. At the last minute his brother and SIL decided to come and stay with another couple ...so we also had house quests. I could go into those stories....BUT....I want to get to the best part.....

The night before the party after we had gone to bed at 1:30... the phone rang.....and it was our son informing us that he had taken Brooke to the hospital because Gunnar was ready to make his way into the world. I was no longer tired to say the least and at 3:20....Gunnar Stephen Con..... was born. 7 lbs 10 oz, 20 inches long and as healthy as can be!!!

A few days later my Mom came to visit and we all made the 9 hr drive up north to visit our first grand child.

Halloween and B-Day Pic's

Our neighborhood always has the greatest parties...and Halloween is no exception. This year a couple of our neighbors and ourselves decided to be Iron Chefs or.....I'm Paula Dean( soooo fun suuuugar) DH, Alton Brown along with Mario Batelli and Guy Fieri.
I was so sore from dancing....FUN!

And last but not least my DH had a Birthday dinner for me with some friends and this is a good picture of us ...although it was late in the evening and in every picture we look toasted ;-))
